Worship Notes were originally included in the
Sunday leaflets of a church. Based on contemporary university scholarship, they
are designed for adult education. Informative, the notes are intentionally
neither devotional nor inspirational.
A new excellent resource is the book An Episcopal
Dictionary of the Church: A User-Friendly Reference for Episcopalians
edited by Don. S. Armentrout and Robert Boak Slocum. It may be ordered at
www.churchpub.org within the Reference
category. The Glossaries may be accessed directly at
www.episcopal-life.org/19625_19610_ENG_HTM.htm.
Included in these worship notes are additional items of
interest too lengthy for leaflets.
